A delicious and comforting meal that combines tender chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, and cheesy garlic bread, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

- 2 small chicken breasts
- 1 Italian style loaf
- 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning (or a mix of salt, pepper, and garlic powder)
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic (or garlic paste)
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into ½ inch pieces. Place them in a bowl, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and season with 1 tablespoon of poultry seasoning.
- In a pan over medium heat, cook the chicken until it’s golden brown.
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise. In a small bowl, mix 1 stick of melted butter, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley, and 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes.
- Spread this butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread. Toast the bread in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5-10 minutes.
- Using the same pan, heat it over medium-low heat. Add 1/2 stick of butter and let it melt. Stir in 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Lower the heat and add 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 1/4 cup of shredded parmesan cheese, and 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley. Simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens slightly (about 3-5 minutes).
- Spread half of the sauce over the toasted bread. Layer with the cooked chicken, add mozzarella cheese, and then top with the remaining sauce.
- Place the bread back in the oven and bake at 350°F for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Slice into 2-3 inch pieces and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the oven to regain crispy texture.
