- 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1/2 cup carrots, diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded turkey, mixed vegetables, onion, celery, carrots, cream of chicken soup, milk, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a pie crust placed in a pie dish.
- Cover with the second pie crust and seal the edges, making slits in the top for steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use leftover turkey from a holiday meal.
- You can substitute fresh vegetables if desired.
