Description

Deliciously tender and juicy baked chicken drumsticks coated in a sweet and sticky soy sauce and honey glaze.


Ingredients

  • 10 chicken drumsticks
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
  3. Place the chicken drumsticks in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, turning once halfway, until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the glaze for a few hours or overnight. Adjust sweetness with more or less honey as per your taste.
