Description
Tender chicken coated in a flavorful garlic butter sauce with a kick of spice, perfect for weeknight dinners or game nights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs (700 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tsp red chili flakes (adjust for spice preference)
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Juice of ½ lemon (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breast cubes dry with a paper towel and season with paprika, cayenne, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat until sizzling.
- Add the seasoned chicken breast bites to the pan in a single layer. Sear each side for 2–3 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Reduce the heat and add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant, then stir in chili flakes.
- Return the chicken to the pan, tossing it in the spicy garlic butter sauce until fully coated. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Avoid dry chicken by cutting into even-sized cubes. For a healthier version, try baking instead of frying.
