Description

Tender chicken coated in a flavorful garlic butter sauce with a kick of spice, perfect for weeknight dinners or game nights.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (700 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional, for brightness)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breast cubes dry with a paper towel and season with paprika, cayenne, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat until sizzling.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken breast bites to the pan in a single layer. Sear each side for 2–3 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Reduce the heat and add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant, then stir in chili flakes.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, tossing it in the spicy garlic butter sauce until fully coated. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Avoid dry chicken by cutting into even-sized cubes. For a healthier version, try baking instead of frying.
