Description

A quick and easy recipe for perfectly cooked boneless skinless chicken breasts, delivering juicy, tender meat with minimal effort in 25 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (68 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Remove the chicken breasts from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 10 minutes. Pat each chicken breast completely dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Mix well.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over both sides of each chicken breast, then generously season with the spice mixture.
  4. Heat your large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Carefully place the seasoned chicken breasts in the hot skillet. Sear for 6-7 minutes without moving the chicken.
  6. Flip the chicken breasts using tongs and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. In the final 2 minutes of cooking, add the butter and minced garlic to the pan, basting the chicken with the melted mixture.
  8. Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before serving, drizzled with lemon juice and parsley.

Notes

Make sure the chicken reaches 165°F for safety. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
