Description

This oven baked chicken breast is quick, healthy, and easy, making it perfect for weeknights and meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken breasts.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Pound the breasts to even thickness for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. For a crisp top, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
