Description

A creamy and flavorful chicken salad perfect for sandwiches or light meals.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Dice the cooked chicken into bite-size pieces.
  2. Chop the celery and red onion small.
  3. Put the chicken, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, sweet pickle relish, and yellow mustard in a bowl.
  4. Add salt and black pepper.
  5. Mix everything until it looks even and creamy.
  6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate at least 30 minutes so the flavors blend.

Notes

Chill the salad to let flavors blend well. For a variation, add grapes, nuts, or fresh herbs.
