Description

Crunchy and tasty chicken nuggets made with almond flour and Parmesan, perfect for a keto diet!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of chicken
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the canned chicken, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg.
  4. Form the chicken mixture into nugget shapes.
  5. Dip each nugget into the beaten egg, then back into the chicken mixture to coat.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket or baking sheet with cooking spray. Place the nuggets in a single layer.
  7. Cook in the air fryer for about 10-12 minutes, or in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Press the mixture well for nuggets to hold their shape. Use paper towels to drain excess moisture from canned chicken. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer for optimal crispiness.
