Description

A quick and flavorful dish combining tender chicken thighs with spicy jalapeños, sweet honey, and savory soy sauce, all served over rice.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs
  • Onions
  • Jalapeño peppers
  • Soy sauce
  • Honey
  • Sesame seeds
  • Rice
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add the chicken pieces. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add diced onions and sliced jalapeños to the pan and sauté until softened.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and honey to create a sweet and salty sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetable mixture, stirring to coat and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve the jalapeño chicken over a bed of rice, garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

For a creamier version, add a splash of coconut milk or heavy cream towards the end of cooking. Adjust the spice level by modifying the amount of jalapeños used.
