- 2 lbs chicken thighs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2–3 jalapeño peppers, diced
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
Instructions
- Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season with salt.
- In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions until translucent.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in diced jalapeños, garlic, and ginger, cooking for a few more minutes.
- Add soy sauce and honey, mixing well to coat the chicken.
- Let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the chicken over a bed of rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
Notes
For a milder dish, remove the seeds from the jalapeños. Pair with lime wedges for a bright touch.
