Description

A quick and easy Honey Garlic Chicken recipe that brings a sweet and savory flavor to your dinner table, perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil. Stir until well blended.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil if needed.
  5. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  6. Flip the chicken and pour the honey garlic sauce over it. Cook for another 5-7 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Drizzle with any remaining sauce and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Marinating the chicken in the sauce for a few hours enhances the flavor. Use fresh garlic for the best taste.
