Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and sesame oil until combined.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the prepared baking dish and pour the honey garlic sauce over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing, and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve over rice or alongside vegetables.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for a few hours before baking. You can also grill the chicken instead of baking it for a smoky flavor.
