Description

A classic homemade chicken parmesan with juicy chicken, savory marinara, and melted cheeses, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Spaghetti or zucchini noodles for serving
  • Caesar salad for serving
  • Cheesy pull-apart bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken on both sides.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
