Description

Simple and healthy chicken nuggets made with almond flour and flaxseed, cooked quickly in an air fryer for a light, crunchy coating.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together almond flour, flaxseed meal, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until fully covered.
  4. Place the coated chicken nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with olive oil.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the nuggets are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For best crispness, reheat in the air fryer. Can be served with various dipping sauces and side salads.
