Description

A quick and easy dish featuring tender chicken, flavorful garlic, and soft gnocchi in a creamy sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1 package gnocchi
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken breast and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the gnocchi to the skillet and cook according to package instructions until they float to the top.
  5. Once the gnocchi is cooked, stir in the heavy cream and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Notes

Make sure to cut the chicken into even pieces for even cooking. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or peas during the cooking process for extra nutrients. Use fresh garlic for the best flavor, but garlic powder can be used in a pinch.
