Description
A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chilli peppers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the oil and sauté until garlic is golden brown.
- Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of pasta water.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with garlic and oil, tossing to coat.
- If needed, add reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Season with salt and mix in chopped parsley.
- Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For a milder version, reduce the amount of red pepper flakes.
