Description

A fast, cheesy slider bake with layers of chicken, cheese, and marinara on sweet rolls, perfect for weeknight dinners or game day.


Ingredients

  • 24 frozen breaded chicken tenders
  • 1 package (12 oz) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 package (7.5 oz) sliced provolone and mozzarella cheese blend
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Cook the frozen chicken tenders according to package directions.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally (keeping them attached) and place the bottom half in a greased casserole dish.
  3. Add a layer of cheese over the rolls and bake briefly until melted.
  4. Spoon marinara sauce evenly over the cheese.
  5. Place cooked chicken tenders on top. Spoon more marinara sauce over the chicken. Add another layer of cheese.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  7. Melt butter and stir in garlic powder and crushed red pepper flakes. Brush over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
  10. Sprinkle with fresh basil before serving. Cut into sliders and enjoy.

Notes

Cool to room temperature before storing. Can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
