Description

This easy and low-work recipe makes tender, juicy drumsticks that fall off the bone.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken legs (drumsticks)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken legs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken legs for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.
  3. Place the chicken legs in the slow cooker and pour in the chicken broth.
  4. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  5. For crispy skin, place the chicken under the broiler for a few minutes after cooking.
  6. Serve with your favorite sides, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before seasoning for better sear. Arrange legs in a single layer for optimal cooking.
