Description

A simple and easy slow-cooked dish with tender chicken and flavorful gravy, perfect for busy weeknight meals or a quiet weekend.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 packet gravy mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix the gravy mix and chicken broth until well combined. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Add chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.

Notes

Use boneless skinless chicken breasts for even cooking. Do not lift the lid while cooking to maintain heat. If the gravy is too thin, mix 1 teaspoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon cold water and stir into the crockpot. Cook on high for 15 minutes to thicken.
