Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying (if pan-frying)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (if baking).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 3-4 minutes per side). Alternatively, place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Once cooked, layer each chicken breast with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese.
- Drizzle honey mustard sauce over the top.
- If baking, return to oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter finish, bake instead of fry. Adjust cheese and meat for variations.
