Description

A delightful dish featuring crispy breaded chicken topped with ham, Swiss cheese, and a drizzle of honey mustard.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying (if pan-frying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (if baking).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 3-4 minutes per side). Alternatively, place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, layer each chicken breast with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese.
  6. Drizzle honey mustard sauce over the top.
  7. If baking, return to oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter finish, bake instead of fry. Adjust cheese and meat for variations.
