Perfectly crispy chicken wings coated in a rich, savory garlic parmesan sauce, great for game days and family dinners.

- 2 lbs chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper to taste
- Extra grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels and let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Add the wings and toss to coat evenly.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a wire rack on top of a large baking sheet.
- Place the seasoned wings on the wire rack in a single layer.
- Bake the wings for 25 minutes without flipping.
- While baking, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper into the melted garlic butter.
- After 25 minutes, carefully flip each wing and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove wings from the oven and toss them in the garlic parmesan sauce.
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
For air-fryer method: Preheat to 380°F (193°C) and cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for an additional 10-12 minutes.
