- 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Make sure to press the breadcrumbs well onto the chicken for better adherence. Use fresh marinara for superior flavor.
