Description

A rich and comforting dish combining tender chicken with a smooth pesto cream sauce, perfect for dinner any night of the week.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and sear for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and pesto sauce. Stir until well combined and bring to a simmer.
  3. Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring it’s coated in the creamy pesto sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to warm through.
  4. Serve hot and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese for added flavor.

Notes

Use freshly made pesto for the best flavor. Garnish with fresh basil or chopped parsley for a pop of color.
