- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and sear for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream and pesto sauce. Stir until well combined and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring it’s coated in the creamy pesto sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to warm through.
- Serve hot and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese for added flavor.
Notes
Use freshly made pesto for the best flavor. Garnish with fresh basil or chopped parsley for a pop of color.
