- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 2 cups béchamel sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups spinach (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté spinach until wilted.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, some béchamel sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- Spread a layer of béchamel sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer noodles, chicken mixture, spinach (if using), and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and béchamel sauce on top.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the final layer.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding cooked mushrooms or bell peppers to the chicken mixture. Use homemade béchamel sauce for a creamier texture, or store-bought to save time.
