Description

A rich, tangy, and slightly spicy baked chicken dish topped with a buttery garlic herb sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in parsley, chives, dill, paprika, cayenne, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  4. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the cowboy butter sauce over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  6. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

Pound thicker breasts to ensure even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness at 165°F (74°C). Adjust seasoning to taste.
