- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups favorite pasta sauce
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Foil for baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them in a lined baking dish.
- Pour the pasta sauce over the meatballs.
- Top with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to brown the cheese.
- Serve with pasta, potatoes, or on rolls.
Notes
Don’t overmix the meat to keep the meatballs tender. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to make even meatballs.
