Description

Easy and flavorful Chicken Parmesan Meatballs that combine classic chicken Parmesan taste with tender meatballs, perfect for weeknight dinners or family meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups favorite pasta sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Foil for baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them in a lined baking dish.
  4. Pour the pasta sauce over the meatballs.
  5. Top with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to brown the cheese.
  8. Serve with pasta, potatoes, or on rolls.

Notes

Don’t overmix the meat to keep the meatballs tender. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to make even meatballs.
