A creamy and spicy buffalo chicken dip that’s perfect for parties, game days, and gatherings.

- 2 pounds cooked chicken breast or rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Tortilla chips, for serving
- Celery sticks, for serving
- Carrot sticks, for serving
- Crackers, for serving
- Sliced baguette, for serving
Instructions
- If using raw chicken, season with salt and pepper, bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, cool, then shred.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream and beat until smooth.
- Add buffalo wing sauce, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper; mix well.
- Fold in 3/4 cup cheddar and all mozzarella, add blue cheese if using.
- Fold in shredded chicken until evenly coated.
- Transfer to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, top with reserved cheddar.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Garnish with green onions and serve warm.
Notes
For a spicier version, add jalapeños or cayenne pepper. You can make this dip in a slow cooker for convenience.
