Description

A delicious and filling dish that combines tender chicken, vibrant vegetables, and creamy pasta with bold Cajun flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, letting it simmer to thicken.
  5. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Adjust the Cajun seasoning based on your spice preference.
