- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 8 ounces pasta (such as penne or fettuccine)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the skillet and slice.
- In the same skillet, add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until vegetables are soft.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, stirring to combine. Heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with Parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
Make sure to season the chicken well with Cajun seasoning for the best flavor. You can adjust the spice level by using more or less Cajun seasoning based on your preference.
