Description

These wings mix brown sugar and Cajun spice for a sweet and spicy bite, baked to a crispy perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce if using.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are fully coated.
  4. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spreading them out in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispy skin, pat wings dry before coating and flip once during baking. Serve with celery sticks and a ranch or blue cheese dip.
