- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix together hot sauce, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and add the hot sauce mixture. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
- Spread the wings out in a single layer on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For crispier wings, dry them well before coating. Feel free to experiment with different sauces or spices for unique flavors.
