Description

Spicy Buffalo chicken and creamy mozzarella wrapped in crispy bacon and dough, perfect for game day gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (Cut into cubes)
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble before use)
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken (Substitute with ground turkey or lean beef if desired)
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce (Adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular for extra crunch)
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (For frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken, crumbled bacon, Buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Take a small amount of the filling and place a cube of mozzarella in the center.
  3. Wrap the filling around the cheese to form a ball. Make sure it is fully enclosed.
  4. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Roll each bomb in flour, then dip in the eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat the oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  7. Carefully add the bombs to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Notes

Seal the fillings tightly to prevent leaking during frying. Use Panko for extra crunch.
