- 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (Cut into cubes)
- 6 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble before use)
- 1 lb Ground Chicken (Substitute with ground turkey or lean beef if desired)
- 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce (Adjust for spice preference)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular for extra crunch)
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (For frying)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken, crumbled bacon, Buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Take a small amount of the filling and place a cube of mozzarella in the center.
- Wrap the filling around the cheese to form a ball. Make sure it is fully enclosed.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Roll each bomb in flour, then dip in the eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat the oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Carefully add the bombs to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Notes
Seal the fillings tightly to prevent leaking during frying. Use Panko for extra crunch.
