Description

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare chicken breasts by pounding to an even thickness.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and paprika; let rest.
  3. Make glaze by simmering honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan; add garlic and butter, whisk until combined.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Brush half of the hot honey glaze over chicken and top with feta cheese and olive oil.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Rest under foil for 5 minutes, garnish, and drizzle with remaining glaze before serving.
