Description

A simple and cozy recipe for tender chicken and soft stuffing cooked slowly in a crockpot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 box stuffing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the stuffing mix with chicken broth and set aside.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the cream of chicken soup over the chicken.
  4. Layer the celery and onion on top of the chicken.
  5. Pour the stuffing mixture over the top, making sure the chicken is covered.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your cozy dinner!

Notes

Use fresh diced onion and celery for best flavor. To reduce liquid if stuffing is too wet, cook uncovered on high for 15-30 minutes.
