Description

A quick and simple recipe for moist chicken breasts in a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for weeknights or entertaining guests.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spinach (optional)
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and spinach if using.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and transfer to the oven.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before seasoning for a better sear. Use an oven-safe skillet to minimize dishes.
