- 2 lbs chicken drumsticks
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, black pepper, and olive oil.
- Add the drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Place the marinated drumsticks on a lined baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight and know that skinless chicken can also be used. Check internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
