Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.
  2. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Add chicken to the bowl and toss until all pieces are coated. Let sit for 5–10 minutes to soak up the flavor.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes if your model needs preheating.
  5. Place chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not crowd; cook in batches if needed.
  6. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket or turning pieces halfway through until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and is golden.
  7. Remove chicken and let rest for 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a crispier texture, pat chicken dry, do not overcrowd the basket, and consider a light sprinkle of panko.
