Description

Crispy and crunchy chicken nuggets made in the air fryer, perfect for kids and adults alike.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • Avocado oil cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into nugget-sized pieces, about 1 inch cubes, and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and dried parsley.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs.
  5. Line a large baking sheet with an oven-safe wire rack and set aside.
  6. Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally into the breadcrumbs, ensuring each piece is fully coated.
  7. Transfer to the wire rack while dredging the remaining pieces. Generously spray the chicken nuggets with cooking spray.
  8. Transfer the nuggets to the air fryer in a single layer, about 1 inch apart, and cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  9. Air fry at 400°F for 6 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 4-6 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure not to overcrowd the air fryer and spray lightly with oil.
